And they did this while sitting a couple of starters in preparation for the Wild Card series! Good God! If you get into the post-season, as we know, it's all about how you're playing at the time. Your record means little compared to that. And excluding the Padres' loss to the Dodgers the other day, losing the series to them as a result, the Padres are doing everything. Excellent timing. My commendation once again to Mike Schildt and the coaching staff. You must be among the best in baseball.

We have to take notice of a core of players who got the Pads to this point besides the overall team chemistry after the trade deadline of every player being more relaxed of the trust among each other of no major player or on roster got traded, which all started mid season of the Bolgart injury. Notice 3 players in Hiaokosa ( not good with foreign names, lol of the catcher ) Solano and Peralta. Team has our all stars in the base core of players but these 3 has complimented the team chemistry and the Plate beyond anyone recognizing the additions at mid season of these 3, I applaud them dearly and loud. Now, it is really all about team's whole bullpen beyond the starting 4 as this is the key to win it all, the pitching coach MUST scout hitters right as well to inform the types of pitches to have hitters hit air..

Tatis's leg is still not 100% and Arraez is playing through a torn ligament in his thumb. The #4 seed is already locked up, so there's no reason to play any of the starters nursing injuries. Gives them 3 days of rest before the playoffs start👍
