I am a doctor and I would like to clarify some things here. First thing I would definitely recommend menstrual cups to all women. If you understand the anatomy of vagina u ll know that the cups won't go beyond vagina. The blood collects in the cup and not in ur body. So it's safe. Cup is better than having to sit on ur stained pad the whole day. And keerthi, very happy to see someone creating awareness in tamil about menstrual cups. 👍

For those who are commenting without knowing about this product (especially men), this is a very safe product. Menstrual blood becomes smelly or infected only when it comes in contact with atmosphere (while using pads), with menstrual cups, that doesn't happen, your blood won't stink or get infections. So people saying something that is not changed every 3 hours is unhygienic are wrong. For people talking about virginity and saying unmarried women are not supposed to use this, menstrual cup has nothing to do with a girl's virginity. Pads are non-biodegradable, it creates tonnes of garbage and burning it is not a wise option. Menstrual cups help the environment in such a great way.
