Pagani watch comparision of V2 vs V4 and 42mm to 40mm

Mine is on the way. I paid a little more at 150 but I'm fine with that. Didn't want to wait for a sale. For what you get, still a steal at 150. The white face makes it so fresh. You can wear it with anything. Super clean looking watch.

Nice video! I have the V4. Another difference is the V2 has male end-links whereas the V4 has female end-links (effectively giving it a shorter lug to lug) which is nice. Cheers!

I have a PD-1692 “airking” V1 for the last 2 years, using everyday everywhere, it loses like 2 seconds a day so no worries, mine just have a small dirty on the dial on the 6 marker. Sadly pagani is known for their bad lume, I got a quartz GMT (pretty similar to the one on this video) it was less than $50 USD (so it would avoid 92% import tax fee in Brazil) from Addiesdive but I didn’t use properly yet because the bracelet uses the pin system and is so annoying to set (I’m thinking on just use the pagani bracelet on it, but I’m waiting delivery of a adjustment kit to remove/set it) Addiesdive at least uses proper lume on their dial, but their logo/name is ugly. On a few fancy pieces they only write addies and looks so much better.

Thank you for your video! I've got the v4 and I am very happy with it so far. The bumpy domed indexes on v1-3 look really ugly to me. There are still some drawbacks however: I wish they had whitened the lume on the indexes more to match the white hands, which look beautiful by the way. The bracelet is ok, but the lugs are not aligned well so that it all looks a little tilted. But the real problem is, that the lugs are not secured against twisting. So the lugs occasionally begin to slobber around the watch case. The watch itself is well done, however, especially regarding the price. It looks superb on a black or gray NATO strap. I find the 40mm case just right for my 6.5 inch wrist, although I was concerned about the downsizing when I placed the order. Keep it up, I appreciate your relaxed reviewing style! 🌞

Better cyclope lens on Pagani V4,but on the NH 34 the GMT hand ,moves jerkily respect the Mingzhu old version V2

Apart from 1734 and 1731 Pagani models all others have something missing or faulty mechanism. Even the moonswatch homage out of 1000 sold 40 something watches either with faulty mechanism, broken crown or the Chrono doesn't work

I wish there were a better way to distinguish between all the versions. I just bought the V4 (sold as V4) and it appears to be the V4 except it has PD-1762 on back case cover.

I believe 1762 is the V4. That’s the only one which is 40 mm

Why didnt you get the san martin version? Its not much more expensive than the v4 pagani. Id like to see you compare pagani v4 with san martin.

I now have two san martin watches and they both were tight on my wrist and the strap/bracelet not usually long enough (they should supply more links). I just haven't found them worth the money as everyone keep saying. Just being honest.

The V2 is 42mm and had a cheap Chinese DG5833A movement, you can't find out much info on it. The V3 and V4 both are 40mm and have the more accurate Seiko/TMI NH34A movement. The V4 costs $187, about $70 more than the V3, but you can't find that version any longer. I bought a V4, which doesn't seem to have a lot of improvements over the V3 though, the case and the bracelet look the same. The V4 dial is a gorgeous off white/ivory, the hands and the hour markers are nearly perfect. However the cyclops is actually magnifying the date too much, to the point it's hard to read and distracts you each time you look at the watch. I took my V4 to a watchmaker to have the crystal replaced with a mineral crystal without a cyclops lens, and that's so much better. The V4 bracelet is garbage. Pagani took away the push button clasp and replaced it with an interference fit version, with a fold over latch. My clasp was so tight I initially couldn't even open it without a small screwdriver. I took some 800 grit sandpaper to the catch and got it to work OK, but there's now very little of the tactile click when you close it. I contacted customer support and they are sending me a new bracelet. The watch seems to be pretty reliable, as I would expect with a Seiko movement.

I agree the 42mm is the same size of the original but the difference of the 40mm is unnoticeable on the wrist and much better.

It's not Pagani's own movement. It's Mingzhu DG5833 with custom rotor. It looks like it is magnetized going 2mins off. It's a shame but you can try to demagnetize it. Best wishes.
