BRAVA!! Apart from being the most enjoyable performance of this piece I've ever heard, it's a very instructive video. How you - "Pizzicato" - hold your shoulders - Use your embouchure - hold the flute (hand position, where you place your right thumb, and stability) - move your fingers without undo stress through tricky passages FINALLY, that was simply one great performance!!!!!

From the first like 20 comments, I love how you can see the disparity between comments about 2Set and not about 2Set and pretty much all of the ones not about 2Set were liked by Jasmine and the 2Set ones weren’t. 😬 But like... it makes sense. Come on people... I know that 2Set is really good and well liked, but you don’t have to shove it down other people’s throats that you watch them. I mean... Jasmine is incredibly talented and hardworking clearly from this video, but commenting about 2Set only reminds her of more popular and successful people and ignores the value of the work she’s done, which is ignorant in my opinion. This was truly, truly an incredible rendition and performance of a great piece of music, so let’s appreciate that and congratulate her on that performance and not bring other people into it.

Of course both performances are great, having your inimitable clarity, energy and purity of tone. Perhaps I am imagining things, but I feel like can hear youthful energy in the earlier clip compared to a more refined, perhaps even a calmer approach here. The clearest example to me is 0:30-0:45 here compared to 0:18-0:35 there; transitions seem less abrupt and smoother here. A more refined performance, perhaps, at least to my ear. On the other hand, there is something to be said for the raw energy of youth, for which I feel more and more nostalgic as I get older and older. I cannot decide which performance I prefer, as each is wonderful in its own way. I am glad you asked us to listen and compare, as the contrast is enlightening. In gratitude, I would like to share a 시 (called Sijo in English) that I tried to write to capture my feelings about your performances. I hope I did not get the poetic form too far wrong. From Bach to Mendelssohn to Monti, You conjure life from notes. Surpassing a snake charmer's flute, your flute mesmerizes us. Filling the air with glorious sound; you make any music take flight.
