I saw the movie first and like it, somehow I found out that there was the book so I read it afterwards. I like the books very much and appreciate the movie as an adaptation. In short I like both for different reasons.

The scene where she tells off his dad, one of my favourite scenes from the book/movie might even be my favourite scene actually. And I wasn’t crazy about her kissing him him like at the meeting just because I was thinking you just got promoted and now you’re gonna kiss your bf in front of the people that you’re in charge of. I wish they had saved that for private moment, and we never got to hear her Tell him that she loves him. But even saying, all of that I still love the movie.

i really liked that they implemented more of josh's story in the movie!!! the book was entirely from lucy's pov so we definitely don't really learn/see much of him!
