I agree! I think the lesson for the girls is to focus on the preliminary competition and finals night. Invest in pasarela techniques and stunning evening gowns for both events. The sad truth is that if you don’t have the money or an excellent designer, your chances of winning are really slim. MUPH is all about connections, money, good styling, and pasarela techniques. Chelsea was fortunate to have an amazing gown designer and strong pasarela techniques that night.

Without doubt Chelsea gave out the best performance. She was smart enough to figure out that the battle that mattered the most was the prelims and finals night and no amount of social media exposure will be significant to snatch the crown. Otherwise, what are the judges for? They ‘ll not gonna spend their precious time peeking into the social media posts of all the girls. They will simply rely on what they see onstage.

in south africa the girls in top ten are made to choose which titles they want to compete in..of course no 1 winner has the first choice but if she refuses a title then in goes down each girl by rank...for me thats fair enough

Tita. For the Galleon ship inspired costume, nagawa na kasi ng similar si Axel for Tracey sa MWPh. The inspiration was different, as that was a representation of Magellan's arrival sa Ph. That wasn't received well kasi it seemed as though we were celebrating our oppression from Spain. I don't think it's wise for Chelsea to go that route din considering the type of beauty she is. Baka ma spin na for trade natin ating mga local women.

Eh sila naman ang umayaw o hindi pwede sa 4 crowns? Hindi rin naman pwede na ipilit da Top 5 ang crowns kasi what if ang top 5 sina Kris, Christi, Selena and 2 other overaged women? Lahat na yun di na pwede sa 4 crowns so naturally lalabas sa Top 5 at kukuha dun sa mga eligible. So di pwede yung gusto mo na kung Top 5 ka, top 5 ka, dun kukunin ang winners ng ibang crowns.

Hey T.L. Watching U from NYC. During the live show we noticed the MUPH President J.G seated in the Judges panel was he part of the selection process? What role did he have? Meaning can he override the judge's votes which caused a 5 hour long show ? Was Jonas always team Q.P or Taguig but realized Chelsea was better for the M.U job/brand ??? Respectfully Toraph

Tita Lav, about the "insignificance" of challenge results, it also happened sa MW and Supra? Remember Gwen furnoil broke into most of the MW challenges but failed to enter top 40? With Supra, the eventual winner also didn't do well sa Supra challenges including H2H? And of course so MMD. She clinched all special awards including natcos, pero she didn't advance to top 5?🤔

Hi tita #TeamReplay I get what you’re saying regarding how are you going to score mature women when it comes to swimsuit comp but is it the same when it comes to qna? Like supposedly how are you going to score a very young girl naman who obviously lack experience in life nad is giving over the counter answers. Personally i think we will eventually adapt how we will score mature women pag swimsuit the same way we somehow score young ladies pag qna 😊

Ideally their prize money isn't given in one go. It's treated as a monthly salary. If they have judging gigs or appearances, ideally they're paid for those. Most of these girls score modeling gigs or endorsements which are paid. So yeah sort of unemployed since hindi 9-5. Unless may practice si girl like dentist or doctor.

Tita referenced a viewer's question about Chelsea's dubious beauty (though misguided) struck me as sincere. At best, their idea of beauty is narrow, at worst - ignorant. There are beauty standards and there are Beauty PAGEANT standards. If you are a true Pageant History fan, you would know that beauty like Chelsea's are well represented in the Competitive Pageant world and more important - winnable. There are many gorgeous supermodels and film stars who are celebrated for their looks but they can't cut it on the pageant stage.

@@hidiyakikliuka2792 bella is what now? 28? She was 24 when she joined MUPh. Most Miss World winners from 2017 until now are 25 and under. Vanessa Ponce won at 26, but she was an exception, not the norm. As someone who's very interested with patterns and data, dapat considered yan in thinking who should our next representatives be. As fans, dapat din based sa statistics and historical evidence ang mga choices natin na sinusupportahan. Gaya this year. Miss Universe just changed hands and mejo mag seset pa lang sila ng pattern. I think Chelsea was an excellent choice kasi di pa ganun ka hinog. She has qualities similar to the current miss universe na contesera, di rin ganun ka impressive sa comskills. Although may need pa i.improve ang overall confidence, her stage presence, malapit na. The other choice that was good from the top 5 honestly was Baguio. May ingenue charm kasi sila. The rest, seems too accomplished na for Miss Universe. Lets face it. Miss Universe was supposed to be a stepping stone for most of these girls to reach their dreams. It's not a life goal. So going back, I think Samantha and Bella just dont fit the current Miss World mold. And honestly, the best thing for them to do now is to move on to better, bigger things.
