The hill tribe known as Pahari Korwa is one of the most vulnerable tribes in India. The people of this tribe live in Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and also in Mirzapur district of UP. We met the people of this tribe in Korba district of Chhattisgarh and spent some time with them. During our interactions with them, we met many children who have been abandoned by their parents. We also met some young women, hardly 14-15 years of age, but already married or living-in with their partners. Among these girls, few had already become mothers.
