योग निद्रा एक मीठी सी झपकी की तरह है जिससे आप एकदम तरोताजा महसूस करते हैं योग निद्रा के अभ्यास से आपका पैरा सिंपैथेटिक नर्वस सिस्टम सक्रिय हो जाता है और आप एकदम रिलैक्स हो जाते हैं। जब आप जाग रहे होते हैं तब आपका मस्तिष्क बीटा अवस्था में होता है यानी मस्तिष्क में लगातार विचार चल रहे होते हैं। योग निद्रा करने से मस्तिष्क अल्फा अवस्था में आ जाता है। सेराटोनिन हार्मोन रिलीज़ होने लग रिलीज होने लगता है और आप शांति का अनुभव करते हैं। जैसे-जैसे योगनिद्रा का अभ्यास गहरा होता जाता है आप अल्फा अवस्था से थीटा अवस्था में चले जाते हैं जिसे स्वप्न अवस्था या आर इ एम (रैपिड आए मूवमेंट) भी कहा जाता है। यह अवस्था ठीक वैसी है जैसी बचपन में पाई जाती है। थीटा अवस्था में आप ठीक उसी तरह आवाज सुनते हैं या अलग-अलग इमेजेस देखते हैं जैसे सपने में देखते हैं। थीटा अवस्था के बाद आप पहुंच जाते हैं आनंदमयी डेल्टा अवस्था में जहां पहुंचकर आप शारीरिक मानसिक और भावनात्मक रूप से मजबूत और स्वस्थ होने लगते हैं। परम आनंद की अवस्था में पहुंच जाते हैं। बहुत कम लोग नींद के समय डेल्टा अवस्था में पहुंच पाते हैं। आज इस विशेष योग निद्रा में हम मस्तिष्क की डेल्टा अवस्था तक पहुंचने की कोशिश करेंगे।
Yog Nidra is like a sweet nap so that you feel absolutely refreshed. The practice of Yog Nidra activates your parasympathetic nervous system and you are completely relaxed. When you are awake, your brain is in beta state, ie there are constant thoughts going on in the brain. By doing yog nidra, the brain goes into alpha state. The seratonin hormone starts to release and you feel at peace. As the practice of Yog nidra deepens, you move from alpha state to theta state which is also known as dream state or REM (Rapid Eye Movement). This state is exactly like that found in childhood. In the theta state, you hear the same voice or see different images as you see in a dream. After the theta state you reach the blissful delta state where you become physically mentally and emotionally strong and healthy. You reach a state of ultimate bliss. Very few people reach delta state during sleep. Today in this special yog nidra we will try to reach the delta state of the brain for ultimate bliss.
