Sorry, it’s been a while since I’ve played Pai Gow but I noticed at time stamp 12:42, you set your low hand at the pair of Qs using the joker and the high hand as a pair of 6s. Shouldn’t the 6s have been the low hand?

Only in California Casinos you find where joke is totally wild. In most regular casinos the joker is used to make a straight or flush and if not then its an Ace

Thanks Victor for finally getting Pai Gow on a video session. Will the casino allow you to simply set your hands face up so it's quicker? Some casinos allow this. Especially if you are the only one playing at the table. PS - glad you are not betting Ace High. It's not good bet in the long run.

Still trying to learn pai gow but on hand 10:10 you said flush and dealer paid flush. Was that due to the joker that was in the L hand? I see it was four spades and a club in the H hand. Great video and good luck on future games. 🍀

Yes in paigow the joker can be used as an ace or anything to make a straight or a flush. And it doesn’t have to be kept together you can split it up between both hands for example if I had 4 aces I’m probably playing 2 on the high hand and 2 on the low hand and it’s still a 4 aces bonus

WOW!...that's very strange, that the dealer would show the house cards first, then the players set their's ????...if you 'don't' have to set them 'house ways', then you'll be able to get many more 'pushes', still as long as you don't foul the hand.

I've seen you win and not tip the dealer. If this is an informative video then may I suggest discussing the tip for the winning hands. Most dealers make less than minimum wage and depend on tips to earn a living. Nice video though. It gives a nice feel for the game.

You get seven cards in this particular version you know what the dealer has but if they have ace high it's an automatic push the two card hand has to be worse than your five card you have to beat the dealer on both in order to win otherwise it's a push the dealer wins if you lose both
