Every Christmastime my Mom would get out the old meat grinder but not to grind meat. She would pour raw cranberries in and let us kids each have a turn at turning the crank to grind them up. She’d then make homemade sweet cranberry bread and give it away to neighbors as gifts. Kept some for us to of course. My favorite way was when it was warm with cream cheese spread on top! Craving it now! haha

Yes the Avon red glass set is collectible. Not as much as it used to be but it's coming back as the kids who remember growing up with it are looking for it. Also look closely at the glass piece with the cut silver base, when the bases are thin metal like that, they are usually Sterling and it should have a small mark somewhere on it if it is.

That red set of dishes from Avon is called the Cape Cod Series. Check to see if you can find the date of 1846. The title of it from the 1980's was 1846 Cape Cod Collection. It's worth around $350 if all the pieces are there.

Some Avon is collectable but most isn’t. Honestly I’d blow that out at a flea market. Bigger serving dishes you might want to look up just to be certain but bowls and plates blow them out. I knew as soon as you pulled it out it was likely Avon. It’s pretty but was massed produced so easy to find. But I don’t do a lot with Avon so I’d advise looking up specialty pieces just to be certain Rudy red cape cod is likely the pattern Make sure you look up vintage craft kits some sell for decent $$$ and easy to ship For $250 I see lots of profit, I think you will do well

Most of the pyrex cups are the least wanted of all pyrex. Mixers, cinderellas, berthas, baking pans, space savers and promos are the much better finds. If you find a white dish with green grass/clovers and pink hearts? It's not worth a thing, send me a message and I'll give you $5 for it ;)

Unfortunately the box ripped open when I was carrying it to the truck and I lost the Billy Bob glass, as well as the Elmer Fudd one. Bummer! The Pyrex cups survived... those are pretty durable. Turns out a lot of the boxes wound up ripping open, either because of age or heat or a combination, the cardboard was definitely deteriorating.
