When people scrambling your cube for you insist on hiding it because they think seeing what they're doing will help you.

These are overused! What I hear most often are Pyramid shaped rubik's cube(Pyraminx) You waste time on cubing You waste money on cubes What toy is that?(Yeah,seriously) Scrambling for 10 minutes thinking that it will make it hard my classmate said when I told him about Jack's 16.22 WR-"Whom are you believing at?! You know the world is full of fake news!" "Solving a cube is not hard,it just takes time"(1 hour later,still trying to get one face) 2×2 is easy(Give's up after 5 minutes) No matter how smooth the cube is,they will use full hand and turn like a rubiks brand.

Forgetting algorithms and using the wrong algorithm is my biggest problem. And too many algorithms. 119 that have to be learned in CFOP w/ 41 F2L algorithms
@pezpeculiar9557
@pezpeculiar9557 8 жыл бұрын
***** There's no "right way." There's really 2 options with CFOP for that one. You and I can choose to do F2L the "intuitive" way, or we can choose to learn them with algorithms. Since I don't want to have to think as much during solves, which would slow down time, I choose to do F2L with algorithms. Although it is true that nobody needs to learn full OLL or PLL, they each improve times by about 2 seconds in fast solves. I want to be as fast as possible in the future, so I am going to learn full OLL and PLL if I stay with CFOP. For the people that don't want to work a few extra months memorizing algorithms to get a few seconds faster, they can do 2-look.
@andytoshio
@andytoshio 8 жыл бұрын
+wowitsbryce For OLL, you only need to learn 7 specific algorithms to do 2-look OLL, and only 4 algorithms for 2-look PLL. While I do personally think that learning F2L intuitively is more beneficial in the long run, if you're willing to learn full F2L with algorithms, go for it!
@pezpeculiar9557
@pezpeculiar9557 8 жыл бұрын
***** Ok so for the people that are alright with being a bit slower, there's really only 11 algorithms. 78 for the people that want to do full LLs, and 119 for the ones that want to know F2L algs and full LL algs.
@pezpeculiar9557
@pezpeculiar9557 8 жыл бұрын
***** Don't read this in a criticizing voice in your head, because I don't mean it that way, but why/how do you think intuitive F2L is better in the long run?
@andytoshio
@andytoshio 8 жыл бұрын
Simply because when you learn F2L intuitively, you will get a better understanding of how the pieces move around the cube, and how the cube functions as a whole. When you just learn with algorithms, you're less in tune to what is happening to the pieces of the cube. (I'm still unsure what's happening during OLL/PLL algorithms)

I started cubing over 3 years ago and to this day I can only solve a standard Rubik's Cube in about a minute and a half. I don't find speedcubing interesting; I just enjoy solving puzzles and coming up with my own methods and algorithms for them.
