I was there for that episode of Smackdown. I remember the week prior when this was advertised I cringed at the thought of a “rap battle” segment but this turned out way better then I expected. I remember making jokes with my best friend about making that our bathroom break I’m glad we didn’t in retrospect. The pop for that Xavier Woods line by The Usos was so loud tv didn’t do it justice 😂

@@itzwilza7189 I'll admit it that it can get personal when unscripted. The only way that it won't get to personal is to talk to each other before the show airs. AEW are going that route but I don't think that it's getting to them because they are actually talking to each other before the promo. They do talk to each other before the promos because Paul Heyman actually wanted to tell Vance what he was going to say when he went out but Vance said bring him money. That was Vance back then but today it's about good communication so bad drama is bad for them for sure because all the publicity they will get.

I think the most iconic moment, to me anyway, of their interactions was after the feud had ended and they had a healthy respect for each other during the tag team gauntlet match to get Kofi into mania, the Usos forfeited their match against the new day and them saying that they were forfeiting a match got one of the loudest pops of the night
