Someone tell her she doesn't have to be unselfish all the time. It's okay to take the game over and disregard how open your teammates are. I firmly believe she woulda won her second year had she been more selfish and aggressive.

She could have and should have scored 30 against this terrible team. AND she was shooting well, she just needed to pull the trigger and take more shots. Another game by Paige just taking it easy and refusing to score after 22😅-23 points. The WNBA is about SCORING, so it wouldn’t surprise me if Paige gets chosen 4 or 5 in the draft. I imagine Paige will only score about 13 or 14 points a game in the WNBA her first year .

She plays within a system at UConn. It might seem constrictive but it's making her a better player fundamentally. When she is unleashed and plays more free flowing her numbers will be just like her highschool days. There's a reason guys in college average 13-15 PPG and then get to the league and average 20+. It's about the type of offense you're in. UConn isn't playing a heliocentric offense where one person gets to do whatever they want.

@ -NO, her lack of drive to score is a flaw and it will follow her in the WNBA; and then it will be that teams fans problem as they continuously say: Paige should shoot more, patient should shoot more, Paige should shoot more. No WAY Paige should be picked first. WNBA teams need HIGH SCORERS.

@@lecowardjames-of course it’s more important against South Carolina. But it would help to practice scoring high amounts of points against these teams. It would benefit her to go out and get 30 against all these awful teams. Plus, anybody who shooting 69% in the game should take as many shots as possible.
