Thank you for breaking this down so clearly! I've been wanting to move from Mailchimp for a while now and while I was tempted by Flodesk, I do think the Convertkit functionality will ultimately win out. Appreciate this so much!

Link triggers / Tag automation IS a Flodesk feature. I’ve been a Flodesk user for a year now, and you can definitly do that (Add a condition > Take action if « Subscriber has clicked a link » > Choose link(s) > Choose the action if Yes or No (add a tag, a segment, stop the workflow…) I thought it would be helpful since a lot of people are making their choice on that information. I was personnaly looking for informations on convertkit because of the A/B testing feature

Hey Paige! This was very helpful because I was literally going to cancel my convertkit to move to flodesk. I’ve been with convertkit for years but I do like the look of flodesk. But, I sell courses as well and those functionality features are very important to me. Thanks. I’m going to stick with convertkit

Awe good I'm so happy it could help Kenniqua! Agreed, if you're going to sell courses or any digital products, the functionality of ConvertKit I think really wins out over the pretty-factor of Flodesk for me!

In my view, it's when the email gets opened (which is what we want) that they get to even see that it's beautiful!!!... Getting mails that are opened is my goal, thank you for the comparison video, its been helpful.

Thank you. I’ve had convertkit for awhile now but have not mastered using all the features. This was helpful. I will keep working on it though. I recognize that newer is not always better.

Ah - thrilled you found it useful! And yes - defs agree with that philosophy! It can be tempting to jump to the newest shiniest thing, but experience has definitely taught me it's not always the best option!

haha, fab choice! And yep, that's the beauty of email marketing, you own your list so you can at any time export the list and import it into another email marketing provider easily!

Hi Paige! Thanks for this really helpful video. May I have a question for you. I started testing the flodest as I love the design, but I am so upset when someone get the email who has dark mode on there device as the email falls apart. Did you have this experience with any of the platforms specially with ConvertKit? ( As I know the Flodask has this issue). Many thanks for your answer, have a lovely day.

Fabulous question Claire! Honestly I think it's because it's not fabulous compared to other email marketing softwares like Convertkit or Flodesk so larger businesses & creators tend not to use it !
