I just wanted to say thank you! This is not a dig on your power, but watching you throw is absolutely inspiring. I'm a 52 year old guy that spent his whole life just using sheer muscle to outwork anybody or anything else I wanted to do my body would just absolutely do it. Last year A friend of mine introduced me to disc golf oh, because I can't throw a football over my shoulder anymore and this is a sad story. Couple herniated disc rotator cuff torn with both knees meniscus tears. Nothing hurts and I've had all the MRIS. The one thing I can do is disc golf I can watch Paul Macbeth 350 footed like swatting flies. Eagle McManus forehand and we won't even talk about Simon, cuz I have no idea how he does what he does. I get to go out and instead of just walking around the block or lifting weights I get to play a game again. Often imitate your flip over the head throw the putter. I watch you throw and it is. I'm just going to Ramble On on with words because I can't really explain it. Have you ever been to a professional hockey game and watched how they skated? Or a figure skating? And watch how they do it and you have no idea but you're sure that because I'm never get there you just want to get a little bit close to that. Whenever you watch somebody who's a professional at something it give you inspiration just to get a little close to that. It doesn't matter if they're racing, playing football playing soccer. Have you ever watched soccer and exactly how precise that is? You remind me of those people and I know how much dedication to work it takes to get there actually I don't. I've never done anything in my life that comes close that how much dedication in talent that you have. But everyday I go out on the disc golf course can I play 9 holes with throwing two buzzes and a Sear every hole there all about 340 and it's the love of whatever you smoke one that doesn't go into the the woods and drops out of the tree. Sorry about the rambling, but I don't know how to express you how absolutely special you are as an athlete

I used to live out that way and spent time up in that area. Pretty great place to be stuck for a month, especially with a course like that. You should use your employee discount to upgrade some of those baskets! Great vid for the situation.

this is/was so cool, i was in a similar situation in NZ when we had our first lockdown in 2020, stuck at my sisters in th far north of New Zealand for 6 weeks, i wasnt playing disc golf back then, but staying on a similar property in th middle of nowhere, with fruit trees veges and just fresh air for days

I met Nate Perkins in Grass Valley when he and his partner were hosting an event there at Condon Park Disc Golf Course. I talked to him for a few minutes, he seems like a very nice person. What? Pretty close to paradise if you ask me. I went to Idyllwild to buy a motorcycle last year and spent a few hours in Temecula waiting for the traffic to thin out before heading back to Vegas. I thought it was a very nice place and I oney saw the town. This is an old hippy's dream.

So impressed by this video (and the property)! I think we would all love to see some better “zoom” work. Hard to see the disc in the second half of the fligh. ☺️😉 Also, video idea: would love to see your approach to “practicing”. Example: Take is “in to the weeds” of working on your forehand game. Maybe a forehand montage? Another idea: what’s the course record? How many strokes can you shave off your game over the next month?
