FELIP - 'Bulan' MV REACTION

some people may call it "noise music" because of the instrumentals being so loud but it was actually on purpose and one of the details since in the philippines' pre-colonial mythology "bakunawa" (a sea-serpent like dragon as seen in the MV) their weakness is loud noise... so that explains the heavy music on the intro already hehe just wanted to say this for more infos yk

From what I remember researching, Bulan and Haliya are twin god and goddesses. (Bulan also means moon in Felip’s language). The giant mythological sea serpent, Bakunawa, is a moon eating creature. Every now and then, the Bakunawa would try and eat Bulan and Haliya. Bakunawa would disappear with the sound of a gong, which is why at the end of the MV, the sea serpent is no longer seen.
