Thanks for the feedback everyone. Normal programming will be resumed until further notice. I will continue to investigate possible improvements and may try again in the future :-)

Really great update. Most interesting to see how you start applying veneer and the patience required. Can't wait to see this progress. Camera would seem like a great idea, but not so much in practice. May I suggest you watch this video with the sound off in full screen mode and conclude yourself. Any sort of moving camera work is very difficult as has to be super smooth or the viewer sort of feels sick. Kudos for trying new ideas.

I have never worked with veneer. This is really interesting to me. Looking good John. The camera experiment does not bother me, but I do know lots of youtubers who hate head mounted cameras.

Certainly, this camera does not require assembly, and thanks to its location, the objects you work on are always visible, and the camera does not limit your field of view. Unfortunately, it is impossible to stabilize the recorded image or prevent it from following your eyes. It is probably better to attach the camera to a ceiling or shelf so that it captures the image from the side above your shoulder.

The new camera gives a nice wide field of view yo give an overall feeling if what you're doing. But maybe too wide to see all of your intricate work with the components etc.

Thanks Graham, I'll see about setting a smaller field of view for the next 'test'.
