Not going to lie,I prefer the English version to the Japanese. Because instead of Lenne outright possessing Yuna to sing ( like say Shuyin would do), she sings a duet with her. It also fits perfectly with the idea of Lenne being a singer. Lenne didn't use Yuna, they harmonized. Plus, it fits with the goal of trying to make the two side make peace with one another.

It's more than that. And i love how you think. What i felt when i started seeing Lenne harmonize, as you say, was a connection where the two understood the same feeling of losing someone so important, and yet they both would sa The garmet grid yuna found, was meant for her. Lenne brought hope through the power of singing her hearts out to the people. And Yuna brought hope to the people of Spira for surviving the dangerous quest to defeating the true enemy... Maybe ;p But point is, they both utilized to show just how powerful one dream can conspire to be. That's what got me the most.

Listen people, I went to ComicCon just recent. It makes me very sad, really angry at the same time very sad. How 2 or 1 particular games (12 & 13 series) can snuff out completely anything of Final Fantasy even over rated 7. NOTHING FF other than less than a handful of pictures. I'll say it F-ing again. If you think for even 1 second that Social Justice Wariors, Political Correctness is a joke. You bloody guess again. They exist. People who want just and only for their self exist and this be a result. I am beyond fed the hell up with how I see FF7 fans treat all FF games, people like Spoony who trashed every FF including 8, and I am beyond soo SICK of how 7 fans and SJW's treat Yuna on sites. Research what people think of the new Ghostbusters, Young Conker, web sites where people whine over Duke Nukem, how certain games like DOA Extreme Vollyball 3 and other Jap games were banned. Peoples concern Star Wars will be politicaly corrected. Thank SJW's and FF7 fans that I went to ComicCon last week and it was a unwelcoming Final Fantasy ghost convention. I did not feel welcome one bit paying $30 for a advanced ticket which otherwise been $40 being there. It's unpleasant to go to a convention where FF should be as big a Icon as Lord Of The Rings or even Star Wars in gaming and IT'S COMPLETELY NON EXISTANT!!! Unwelcoming. I understand Enix messes up perpetually over and over. I sick of it being taken out on games X-2 down to 8 instead of bicker over 12 and the 13 series. Thank your selves for that FF7 fans and SJW's. You draged FF down as a whole from existence in comic shops let alone conventions. No matter how many people say that FFX-2 it's horrible, I still hold a special place for it (cause' it was my first FF game), and though the story isn't that good compared to other FF games it's still worthy, and it could be much better if they had focused more on improving the history behind characters like Shuyin/Lenne/Paine instead of shitty characters like Leblanc/Ormi/Logos. But, besides that, it has an amazing battle system, great graphics and some wonderful songs like this one, that in my opinion, matchs wonderfully with Shuyin and Lenne love atmosphere, and it's just as good as Suteki da Ne for Tidus/Yuna, and Eyes on Me for Rinoa/Squall on FFVIII.

@@DevilMayKizz I don't think FFX-2 was a good game even though i kinda enjoyed it. It was just that people had huge expectations because of FFX. I think it could be far greater than it was. Spira free of Yevon's lies, with no aeons and a way more realistic approach of life could be a nice place to built anew. But she was just wondering with a fancy starship with a girl gang. Plus, i needed someone as evil as Sin and Seymour.

I'm 5 years younger than my sister, and I watched her play through all of the FF games. FFX and FFX-2 were my favorite out of them. Coming back to this video now makes me want to cry because back then I was way too young to understand anything in the games emotionally. Now I need to buy these and play through them myself to get the FULL EFFECT.

Tells a lot about how much this song affects me. ;_; This might be my favourite soundtrack, since it's about Lenne and Shuyin, who are my favourite pair storyline even though they were left kind of in the backgrounds. ;_; The song is amazing... just a pure masterpiece to be honest. OK, while I admit, and usually am the first to point out, that FFX-2 wasn't the best sequel for FFX, I must say the story of Lenne and Shuyin was interesting and very beautiful. In fact, I wish that had been more of a focus in the game's plot. Unfortunately it kept going back to this weird political battle and catfights with Leblanc who honestly came out of nowhere and never really fit into the story. She's a character that really should have been omitted. Really though, Lenne and Shuyin were the high emotional parts of the game. A man so desperate to save his love that he would risk everything and use a weapon that is speculatively as powerful as Sin. Maybe their story would have been a better game. Additional thoughts: SPOILER ALERT Has anyone else considered that Tidus might be the Fayth's dream version of Shuyin? It would explain the similar clothes, the resemblance, and them having the same voice. After all, who's to say Shuyin wasn't a blitz star? Even if he wasn't, the Fayth's dream may not have been 100% accurate. It kind of makes sense in a way

The Fayth's dream was basically everything they remember from their time in the real Zanarkand right? So basically someone remembers a little bit of Shuyin and out of him came his dream version Tidus and since it's kinda made up of their memories it explains why it wouldn't be 100% accurate because we can't possibly remember everything that ever happened to us,right? And the Fayth wouldn't 100% remember what Shuyin was like or what his family history is like and also explains why there is nothing about Lenne or a dream version of her in the dream Zanarkand,would at least get a poster of her since she was a famous star in the real Zanarkand but nope, then again you have to remember that she wasn't created when they made FFX so that's why you would have the excuse of them not remmebering everything exactly as it was. I guess the people that were made to be Fayth weren't such Lenne fans :P.

In Final Fantasy X I fell in love with Yuna, I thought she was amazing having the strength to believe in her friends and in herself. The battles she had to endure and the bittersweet ending to FFX (her speech was the shit). I'm in love with Yuna being in love with Tidus hahaha, this game is fire fuck what people say. Even if it is its own game (just like with Kingdom Hearts franchise) I imagine it being one solid game. The experience!!!!!

ahhh, i grew up with FF. FFX was the first one I played though, I remember being amazed with how real it looked, how amazing the story was, and how fun it was to play. ye, i argued with my friend who says X-2 yuna is too far off X yuna, but, man, i can totally feel her, she is so full of responsibilities and so ready to sacrifice her own personal life, and then, by the end of their war, she lost her dearest, how easy was it for her to go on? ofc its nothing close to easy 😭 I figured the X-2 is the best way for her to find a new purpose, new happiness, and all. Thanks rikku and paine for being the friends in such a difficult time🤧 Also, whatever ppl said about her, I can still see X-2 yuna is X yuna, just with more self care, self love, a bit of personal enjoyment for herself ❤‍🩹

When I was 13, I went over to a friends house during the holidays. We both got X-2 after playing through X and hyping the game for the last half of the 4th term of the school year. I went to his place, and he was in chapter 3. We played further into the game, eventually witnessing this scene. It was about 12 am. We were amazed. Consequently, after we regained character control, we went to the sphere theatre in Luca, purchased the video of this song, and watched it repetitively for at least and hour an and a half This song brings back so much nostalgia
