Kiama Wamaru wa nyina na Shiku, I am glad you did not allow deportation to define you. I know 3 people who were deported and one of them served a 5-year prison sentence and they all are now alcoholics with faces full of scars. One of them has zero teeth juu ya kupigwa ulevini and the other one all he talks about is he will be returning to America tomorrow. You’re a strong man.

I was an international student for many years and I relate with your journey of being an international student and honestly it's very sad as all international students I know, lived a normal life like any other American as we knew how to go about it, I mean jobs wise. Also now being a Psychiatric Nurse, what you had is situational depression and anyone can be in the same shoes due to major stress. I'm glad that your on the way to a beautiful journey and i have no doubt you will be a testimony to many. Don't remember crying so much while listening to a narration like yours. Goodness, you have being through so much but it's your time to Shine. I felt like I was watching a Netflix movie, the long drive and just the decision to go unwind in the park led to your deportation. Goodness, surly God comes in different ways and I'm sure everything that happened was meant to happen so his name will be glorified. May God bless Rose the lady who was there for you, I can't imagine how shocked she was, one time your driving back home and the next she is receiving a call to come pick up the car. Most former international students will really relate and hope they can all support you as really we all made it because of God’s Mercy and Grace. You deserve all the support from me, God bless you and may the favor of God follow you wherever you go. Your star is bright 🌞. Your name now will be known as blessed and highly favored. AMEN 🙏

Lakini to be sincere, you should’ve taken up odd jobs to keep up with your fees. Not sure if you were just living by the book because you were in Bible school. Ni vizuri kujanjaruka and ask people how they make it in America as international students. I’ve been there. I worked nights and attended school during the day. It’s a lot of hard work. You could’ve also moved to a state that’s more accommodating like Washington state, Seattle area. There’s a great Kenyan community that shows up and shows out. I hope you’re doing well sir, life in America is not for everyone. May God restore you.

Lakini Kenyans don’t think ahead. You wanted to go to America na bibi na mtoto without a source of income and in college and you didn’t know anybody? That’s very very irresponsible. You could have drove your family to homelessness and deportation. And he clearly says you can’t work with an F1 visa. People who start families and commitments Kama hawajielwi are irresponsible.

I have watched this man give his story B4. I have noted a gap. Previously he talked about having issues with his College washing toilets for his fees! In this post he now does not mention anything about refusing to do his manual work. While I sympathize with him, I see a person who is suffering from some personality issues. Consider this:- 1. He lost his first job mysteriously at ACK South C church. 2. He lost his two wives mysteriously. 3. Finally he lost his place at the Bible College due to his pride. Kiama must know that time is not waiting for him. He is growing old & needs to settle! Apparently now he is seeking assistance to begin a church!. Church is not a business, but he appears to think that his destiny is tied to being a Pastor. Pastoral work is voluntary but not a career to make money. I wish him well!
@winniengugi20085 ай бұрын
The ways of God are a mystery. When God has a mark on a man or woman, the devil is not happy. We cannot be like Job’s friends. We must pray and assist where we can. When the time is right, the Lord will make it happen for Kiama. Lord, hasten your Word to perform it for your servant.

May God restore you and accomplish His purpose through all of what you’ve gone through! Thanks for sharing your story as others can be enlightened by the experience. As a Kenyan who has been an international student and well aware of the struggles, you can apply for economic hardship through your school DSO which allows you to work legally in any occupation off campus if you’re struggling financially and you’ve lost your sponsor. The other way to avoid deportation and still earn is to apply for asylum soon after landing but if you decide to maintain F1 status you can’t work. The other one is to stay well connected with the Kenyan community once you arrive in the US and know how to survive through connected jobs. You need a plan as an international student abroad to avoid such situations. Shared with love as this story can help others.
@raphaelkioko71885 ай бұрын
Wow, Kenya, Africa we are blessed. Kiama the reason why you couldn't raise US$400 for your college fees is because God had a better plan for you and it is just a matter of time and you will experience that divine visition which will bring glory and honour to his name and you know what brother? that will be another testimony. Anyone listening will tell you that there is a reason why you had to go through all that. From a human point of view it was very sad that all those many Kenyans in the US could not support you to finish your studies. You are a child of Destiny and that is why even those women had to leave you. God will bless you with your better half and together you will serve him. Amen.

I have been in aviation for 13 years and having a deported people inflight is very common. Having an escorted deportee has only happened once in my 13 years of being a flight attendant. Some reasons why a deported person will be escorted is; 1. Mental instability (like in his case). 2. Said person is not willing to leave the country they are being deported from. 3. The person is a flight risk. 4. The person has committed a heinous crime.
@Sawat124774 ай бұрын
One can be escorted by two officers if an immigration officer lied about you in the court. I know innocent people who were escorted n one lady had to sit in deportation prison till the Immigration Police officers get Visas
@terryfaith17054 ай бұрын
@@Sawat12477 point 4. Covers what you are saying. They don’t care if a person lied on you or not. What matters is the court’s verdict and a guilty charge and on a serious charge, plus their evaluation of you, may get you escorted.

Sometimes God has to take you back where He wants you. My very close friend has been in immigration detention twice but both times he was released. He's had numerous drunk driving arrests as an illegal immigrant but is still in America. He gets jobs easily and no one bothers him. He even has a deportation order but cops never bother him. I'm saying this to encourage you that you didn't belong in America. God wanted to use you in Kenya.
