albertalawyer Agreed. I wrestled for years and lost 40-50 pounds every year to get to my weight. I did it over a long period of time through diet and exercise and made sure I never starved myself...after the first year. My first year cutting, I cut to under 2% body fat (which is now illegal for high school wrestling, I believe the the limit is now 4%) but most of my friends were throwing up and not putting any food or water into their systems. I had one friend who lost over 15 pounds a week, bringing him down to a near 3% level, who would only eat on Saturday nights and Sundays after tournaments. These people looked like death itself and most performed very poorly. Do not starve yourself to lose weight.

For those of you who don't think food is addicting, I'm 6'4" and only 165 pounds with diabetes and sugar can become addicting. I'm luck and that I'm not heave as jordie or boogie, but its not them just being fat people who can't stop eating. Processed food are addictive.
