Because I believe that would be a pretty low standard to hold when anime like Berserk exist, Guts, Griffith and Casca are dedicated a whole arc (The Golden Age) through which we learn their backstories. You could argue that the rest of the story is not covered in anime version, only the golden age, but then I'll point to you Johan from Monster which does have a complete anime story. At the beginning a very enigmatic character which through the 74 episodes of the series we get to understand better. Those are 2 examples, now imagine the tons and tons of anime/whatever medium of fiction which you and I simply don't know of containing characters with great (and probably better) backstories. Really, those hyperbolic "best" kind of claims are absolutely worthless, and only make you seem like a fanboy (which isn't good, being a blind lover is just as bad as a blind hater). I would've been fine with you calling it good, because I'm sure it holds some merit at least, but best seems a bit far-fetched.

Honestly, I love baki, yujiro is the best, but jack, it's speechless, baki and yujiro, were born with the most evident hanmah blood, Jack achieved everything with effort, and even with anabolic steroids, he struggled and went far, in my humble opinion is the best character in the work

Jack Hanma is one of the many characters in the Baki storyline who deserves to, specifically, not be in the Baki storyline. As in, deserves to fight fights that aren't already decided well in advance by which character/character concept/martial art/idea of manliness the author favours at the time. Because seriously, great characters, god awful plotline. You can not only plot the development of the author's increasing lack of understanding of martial arts or basic streetfighting by the introduction and interaction of characters, and then rank their personal opinions on things like 'what is admirable in a man' or 'what combat style absolutely outranks what', but you can pretty reliably put all that stuff together to predict almost exactly what happens in a fight between two people. Here's hoping for an Ali Jr or Jack Hanma crossover into the Kengan series. At least that one has realistic outcomes and next to no plot armour.

I don't believe baki is ment to be realistic, the author knows what they are doing, and they do have some level of understanding of martial arts, there are outrageous and comical moments in baki because it is ment to be that way. Like running on water or ripping your opponent's face off, or even stopping an earth quake with a single punch, all of these feats are nonsensical and ridiculous because that's the style the author intended. I respect your opinion, however I think the author did a great job. However I do agree on the front that the characters are amazing, plotwise it could use a bit of a tune up, which it is getting now thankfully.

I agree with a lot of what you're saying. The mangaka, however, has perfectly fine understanding of combat. He grew up with violence at home and on the streets, has been training martial arts since a teenager and was in the Japanese Special Forces. He knows. He just decides to let his fantasies, emotions and ideals take over. Not a bad way for fiction I think.

Jack could star his own manga. I love bakis character, but jack in my opinion is much more intreasting then him. Some people understmite him because he took sterodis, but people don't understand he took it as a last result do to his body not reacting to regular training.
