Paint 366 minis in a year? November Update

Changing systems halfway through the year probably threw me off quite a bit but no idea what my number will end up as. I’d quite like to clear the desk a bit before the end of the year - few half painted minis been knocking around since 2023 I think.

My target was 50, so a model a week (ish) It looks like I’ll end up with 83! And some of those are large character models too, so I’m well chuffed this year

Yeah that’s great. I’ve done very few big models. Definitely on the cards for the new year.

Last year I went for 100pts a week (40k) and just scraped it, this year I went for 50 and I've got a single Immolator to finish and I'll be done. Next year I think I'll pinch part of your idea and go for 366 wounds of models as it's mostly Knights and tanks on my to do list and I'm not sure they'd count as just one model lol

Oh doing it by points or wounds is a great idea. I definitely want to paint some big stuff next year. A Primarch. A flyer. Maybe a Knight. Maybe a dragon.

I started with all the good intentions and then hit Summer. After that it all went Pete Tong. I started the two scenery builds for Weathertop and Amon Hen and after that Arnor so got distracted. 😂😂. I still achieved quite a lot of my backlog cleared though so I’m well chuffed with what I have done. So next year?😂. I’m just going to keep going. Crack on gang.

Loving the update video. I have only painted amdur, elfhelm and a easterling banner. Hoping to finish some terrain by the end of the year
