Hey guys, in terms of the tape marks, we removed the tape straight away and the fresh paint dripped down, filling the white gaps :)

Wouldn't you get white rectangles in the spaces where the sticky tape was? Especially if you wait for the paint to dry and then remove the tape and baloon bits.

yeah if they waited for the tape to dry but if they took the tape of straight after than the paint would drip on the tape marks 😀

You should have hung the balloons with thumbtacks instead of tape. That way you wouldn't have all the negative space left from the tape and more color from the paint. Looked like fun though. =)

I'm hoping to do this activity for my art assignment, my friend had recently completed this but told me it was difficult to complete this task. Is it simple as filling balloons, taping them to a canvas and throwing darts?or does water need to be included?

Tip: pin the balloons to the wall instead of using giant pieces of duct tape. I don't care if you removed the tape immediately after. There's no way "dripping paint" covered even 20% of the marks left by the tape. Smoke a bowl after execution... not before ;-)

I've read that doing this leaves bumps that you would need to sand down if you re-painted it, so my idea, that someone has probably already thought of, is to go up and down on it with a roller. It might move the paint a bit, so Idk :)
