How to know when undertones are clashing? What is the rule? Does it clash with green or blue as well? What should I pair it with to avoid clashing? Just stick with tone on tone without mixing undertones?

Hi there! Wondering if you might have a suggestion: After falling in love with SW white duck and then realizing it is too golden in my South West facing great room, I painted it SW White Heron. I love the color, but the more I live in it, the more I feel like it's pulling too pink/purple - especially against the lighter/more golden tones in my flooring and the many green accents (aka my kitchen which is SW revere pewter in the next room. I'd love to know if you have any ideas for something similar that doesn't get really golden while still being a neutral around that level. PS: I love your videos!! Thanks you!

Kylie, I LOVE all your reviews! We’re remodeling a lovely house & I have binged on your videos. I’m using Aesthetic White in majority of house, Accessible Beige MBedroom, Agreeable Gray en-suite bath. Kitchen/Family room in Aesthetic White & painting stone fireplace Aesthetic White also. Living room is my question; warm cafealait wood floors, warm woods, burgundy oriental rug wheat/cork colored sofa. LR is east facing with west facing double French doors looking out to pool. Should I go with Aesthetic White or something like White Heron? Please help!!!

Hi Kylie, love your videos. My wife and I are in the process of having our 100 year old historic home repainted in Waxahachie TX. We landed on Fjord SW2250 for our field color and are considering White Heron 7627 as our trim color. Do you feel these two colors with mingle well or do you have a opinion on a better option for trim? Thank you in advance for any feedback you can provide. cheers!

Hi Kylie, I like this color but during the afternoon it shows a pink undertone on my living room wall which I am not sure I like that. It also looks muddy at times like you mentioned. Aesthetic White is a little dark in my north facing living room. I am having a difficult time finding the right color. I want to try Oyster White or White Duck. I hope to use the same color/color palate in my south facing kitchen and north facing living room since it's open concept. My kitchen cabinets are espresso and I recently painted my barn doors teal. My sectional couch is charcoal gray. Would those possibly work better or any other ideas? I think the LRV of these colors or up to 70 work best.

Great content! I recently sub’d to your channel and have been enjoying a lot of your videos. Would SW extra white be a good white for trim with white heron? I’m using emerald urethane trim enamel and from what I’ve gathered it’s basically the same white as extra white?🤷🏻‍♂️

Yup, Extra White could be pretty, keeping in mind that in trim paint it can look a touch warmer :)

After talking with a SW customer service rep it’s similar but not the same as extra white after all but it’s impossible to get any other info on it other than it has an lrv of 91…🤷🏻‍♂️

This looks like Heron Plume, easy to get mixed up. White Heron is lighter than Aesthetic white.

Oooo, of those three, it all comes down to personal opinion, but seeing as workout equipment is often gray, I lean into City Loft :)
