Paint Correcting a BMW Z3 After 3 Years Sitting Outside Under a Car Cover!

It was a pleasure to have the opportunity to breathe life back into this beautiful '98 Dunkelgrün II Z3 Roadster. This car was sitting outside underneath a car cover for 3 years in the previous owners driveway due to loss of interest. The owner decided he's had enough of seeing the car rot in his driveway and wanted to prepare the car for sale and to find a new owner for it that will give it the love and care that it deserves.
To add some depth to the story, the thermostat was stuck shut and was causing the car to overheat, which is the main reason it was parked 3 years ago. The previous owner has since had an ever so fast growing passion for competition off-roading, so the car was just "out of sight, out of mind" and forgotten.
Once I finished the correction, I did an entire cooling system refresh, valve cover gasket, an oil change, and all new exterior lighting to ensure the next owner of the car has nothing to worry about.

how long does it take for you to do a full car like this guy if you were to do without filming cause I'm sure that makes it take way longer

Filming does make it take a little bit longer, but a job like this takes me between 50-60hrs personally. I’m honestly not sure if that’s normal or not, but that’s the pace I work at! I try to get every square inch of the paint as good as I can and I try not to rush myself so that’s why it takes me so long. When a car gets dropped off with me, it’s normally with me for about a week, sometimes a little longer if I’m doing more than just paint work! Some people may think that time frame is bogus, but that’s just the pace I work at!
