My Palette is by: Barry Herniman's Cloverleaf Palette. cloverleafpaintbox.com/​ if you order thru this site it has free postage. It is a fabulous product, tough light and has large mixing areas , small enough for plein air and ticks all the boxes for me and all my students:) Happy painting!

This is a great tutorial. It has so much information that I need and an approach I am going to try. I have a question about the info on cobalt blue. I can find nothing on PB 290. Blue pigments for cobalt blue vary with many PB 29. But nothing on PB290. Holbein cobalt blue is Pb15 and pb29.

There are two Holbein Cobalt Blues and the one I use is listed on the Holbein colour chart as Cobalt Blue W290...hope this helps, Cheers!
