T-t-troll! Troll on the battlefield! Here's the last video in my Battle of Osgiliath playlist! We've now covered every part, and the Mordor Troll finally has his moment in the spotlight. This guy is a lot larger than the rest of the models in the box set, but it doesn't really take much time to paint! I've chosen to leave off a lot of armour as a change for me, but as you'll see in the tutorial, everything is covered, not matter which version you build! I like your videos and your mini painting style... but I can't see why you use contrast paints when it looks like you cover almost all of them when layering later? Am I missing something? Genuine question, not a criticism.

Thanks man! It’s the quickest way for me to get base colours down on a model, they’re quicker to work with than regular base paints that you’d cover anyway!

Amazing paint job, but I feel there’s no point in using contrast paints if you are going to paint over it several layers.

It saves time on the base coats where you’d normally paint over anyway!
