WOWWWW!!! Finally a Parade that has people screaming and cheering from the moment it starts until the end!!! Great music sound-track finallllly. Not since the 80's has the music been this rockin with Donalds catchy 50th birthday celebration parade and Disney World's 15th anniversary - both now on KZbin for the first time. Check it out!! Incredibly modern with the lights changing on the dancers and floats constantly and great nod to the Electrical Parade music infused in! Bought the owl song - why arn't all the soundtracks available for purchase.

the frozen float was actually really pretty. i’ll miss it! it stinks that a lot of people can’t appreciate its design just cause they hate the movie and think anything related to it is oversaturation :/

Actually, the real reason why this Frozen float was removed from the parade was because it didn’t fit due it was too tall and there was a wire roof that was in the place where the parade was going to pass. This is why you don’t see that Frozen float anymore.

Remember though the original inspiration for this parade has to come from the beloved Grandfather night parade of them all Disneyland Main Street Electrical Parade which was my favorite childhood parade growing up

Its great to see paint the night back at DCA! This parade is arguably one of Disney's BEST parades to be held at any of their theme parks! I do wonder why the frozen float is missing cause I feel like the parade isn't the same without out but that's just me! Great video inside the magic, great comeback for this parade!

The Frozen float is too tall to fit underneath the trolley wires. A couple of floats in the parade were also modified to address that issue.

I noticed LGM (Little Green Men) was missing behind Slinky Dog Toy Story float. Also the Whirlies (Minne, Donald, Goofy's small ball floats) serpentine across the route but not on Hollywood due to the train tracks, they just stay in the center there, everywhere else they serpentine though which is even way cooler.

tealcandtrip that happened when the Main Street Electrical Parade came back last year for that ticketed preview night. They fixed all of the dead lights etc for the official opening night so I imagine they’ll do the same here

Unfortunately they can't bring it back. It's too tall for the cable car wires at DCA. From what I've heard, that's what the Incredibles float will be replacing. I miss it too.

Still can’t believe they didn’t add one of those ball things for Pluto. Also some floats look shorter. If they had to modify some floats to fit them in DCA, they should’ve just left the parade at Disneyland. (Still should’ve added the Blue Fairy as a MSEP reference)

More specifically, the Frozen float is too tall for the Red Car Trolley wires. And since the wires are thematically important (and people at WDI were probably tired of Frozen), it was removed. Not sure if they scrapped it, though.

This parade is mean to appeal to a new young generation of kids who are used to modern pop music and new technology. Old fashioned Disney music as you put would not suit or appeal and would just be classed as dated right off the bat.
