Takes me more than 10 min to pick a brush. This is awesome. Need to learn how to just paint and not worry about the type of brush I’m using.

Thanks so much for taking the time and effort to make these videos and share them with us! It’s super helpful for me to see how you break things down so I can then apply it to my own paintings. By the way I would love to see a video about how to use your brush pack. I have looked through the set some but I’m sure there are many more features than what I am using. Thanks!

Love „10 minutes“ videos! I am a beginner and it is a great lesson! …and whats more, this style is kind of close to „real“ watercolor landscapes which I am trying to reproduce digitally and which is hardly to find in digital paintings. Thank you again!

When the 10 minutes where over your piece already looked so much better than everything I made so far 😂 I've seen that many concept artists are putting photos into their drawings to create texture. Would you recommend doing this for beginners? Or is it better to actually learn how to paint textures first?

Haha! I think both are fine to start. As a beginner, you should just create what is fun for you, get a feel for both photo textures, painting your own, etc. Try a mix of both and see how that feels and looks. Try following along with my tutorials and start exploring the techniques. I have many videos where I teach matte painting as well! Best, W.

On feel, but I use just a handful of brushes, 95% of the time. The other 5% is just special effects and such. W.

Some of your brush might lagg because of the amount of your smoothing. Lower it to 5. I personally like to keep it to 0
