I think JT paintball masks came from JT motorcross, right ? That company began in the 1970s. It was founded by John and Rita Gregory and based in CA. They did make products in Tijuana.

So who know what DSR stands for? Cuz 2 years ago in the DSR owners group we were trying to guess it and a Dye dev just kept telling us we were wrong. My guess was Dynamic Soft Recoil. Maybe they’ve came out with it since.

Technically, acronyms are specifically initialisms that are also words like SWAT and DARE. BPS and ASA are just normal initialisms. Also, a lot of people don’t realize that CS3 stands for C***Sucker 3. It’s pretty clear why they don’t talk about that.
