The muscles on the sides are called the obliques. I love the body sculpting you do. Many doll customizers focus less on muscular physiques and body alterations in general (of course, there are definitely some that do) so your customs are a nice change of pace.

When you made that first pair of leggings, I noticed the jut and I thought you just sew it in a way where there would be a cone that'll stay in place and I was like "lol good techniques to fake a meatsword" But then the "yes, he IS anatomically correct" voiceover came and my jaw was dropped. YOU FRFR SCULPTED IT HOLY HELL SJJDJSKDKDK... 😭😭 I'm sorry about the failed hulk body tho.. those joints idea were awesome, too bad it ended up too big and bulky. All in all, awesome work!!

LOVE kinky bara Bowser~! The joint making process was pretty cool. It's too bad how the original body ended up, but I could see him being used for a dragon, or a big ole oni or something like that. W. Wait. Did. Did you sculpt his meat??? Holy shit fjdjjdjdjdjjdj This doll rules, and it really sucks from the struggle with the original base. I'd say that if you encounter a similar issue with a doll base, I think dumping hot glue and/or aluminum foil would work. I hope to see a reuse of the body, cause it could work for some other big monster character.

you sound kind of "over it" in the VO, which i completely understand. I think your Hulk body came out really good looking! It just needs a bigger head than EAH is all. I'm sure you'd be able to come back to it at some point if you find something that matches or want to make a full-on monster that gets major head mods. Dude, i smiled so big at the mohawk when you glued it down. That accordion method to get the chunky middle weft was genius!! All of the hair on him came out amazing!! My I suggest buying air dry foam it's actually really good at keeping things together especially if you put a layer of Mod Podge on it once it dries and you can get a cheap version of it at Walmart it will crack somewhat depending on how thick you made it but it keeps things together rather well

Well, it's not a TOTAL waste. Do what Dollightful did when she made a custom Light Dragon; save the body and use it in a future project. You're more than likely to have an inspiration and use the rejected body later on! She reused her rejected doll body as a female werewolf for the Halloween Collab a couple years ago! That's why reusing rejected unfinished doll bodies is a good idea. You've just made a mistake that you learned a lesson from. That can happen. Bob Ross said something about happy little accidents.

First off the bat the end result is great he turned out amazing considering a superman action figure was used as a base there's a lot of potential with those dolls of course they need body mods for sure but to start with its good. Also I gotta say as a fellow sewing hobbyist I agree that its rewarding but of course its a pain when you're new to sewing and you find out you're using the wrong needle for stretchy fabric and the wrong foot attachment, I made 2 costumes for myself while using the wrong needle and I'm lucky I didn't have to take them apart, but still its annoying as hell. For stretchy fabrics I recommend a walking foot and a ball point needle to minimize snagging I had to take apart the bobbin compartment of my machine just to get monster high doll size socks out of there. NIGHTMARE.

Ha, the bowser is MY favorite. (I mean I haven't seen all of yours, I just found you like yesterday, but still.) He's gorgeous, sexy, the body hair is just right, his joints aren't as knobby as your Dracula articulation demo. Everything about him is just perfect.... except for the hair, don't get me wrong. I love the hair style and what you did with it I just hate those fluffy matte hair tufts. They don't spark joy. I'm sure they're easy to work with and at this scale short hair just ain't gonna work that well. But hey.
