Painted Canyon and Ladder Canyon Hike Near Palm Spring, California

Painted Canyon and Ladder Canyon Hike is an awesome hike located near Palm Springs, California. This hike was more challenging than we initially thought. However, the slot canyon, colorful mountains, and unusual geologic formations, combined with all the strategically placed ladders definitely make it worth every second. Parts of this hike will make you feel like you are almost on another planet. It is definitely an adventure that we highly recommend!

I have done this hike a few times. The rope section is a lot of fun. the ladders may have been gone by now, but there were a series of ladders in Painted canyon off to your left that led to another canyon. Good video, I love her enthusiasm.

WE are definitely lucky to live in such a diverse place. There are great hike here that cover everything from beaches and forests to deserts. We do our best to explore all of it, but there is always going to be more! :)

@6:00 rock has those rings because it is pushed from the ground because we are in the San Andreas Fault line area. i got that info from a previous video on this trail

@@fortunatetotravel8010 it's been a few years since we've been out there. I think that you should be able to make it, but it might not be a horrible idea to air down and bring traction boards just in case.

We have done this hike a bunch of times. We are actually pretty slow hikers. Maybe it just looked fast in the video. I believe in this one we were actually trying to finish the hike before a storm rolled in.
