I was glad to see how fat and beautiful the shabby chic journal was because every journal I make ends up being fat. What a lucky, lucky person that gets this journal. Oh boy I have been doing some JJ on my sewing machine and found out I was using everything wrong. Lol so I got out the book wow I actually had it handy ..I was using the wrong zipper foot my machine is all computerized so it kept telling me I was doing it wrong but I thought it was just chatting with me...lol I'm still laughing..

Gayle, I love how you gelli printed that sheet of not-so-attractive paper to make it your own. It looks great. One thing I would have done differently, though, is that I'd have cut 1.5" off each side instead of 3" off one side, to get my 9" piece. It would have kept the design more symmetrical. But I'm not any kind of fussy about these things. ;-)
