You should get some epoxy sculpt clay to fix the broken drawer edge. it's easy to sculpt and sand. It's really strong and takes paint well. Easy to buy online too. It adheres real well to things.

Hi Mary! I think the red looks really pretty on you and you should wear it more often. You sure accomplished a lot in one day! Everything looks so much better. My favorite pieces are the dry sink, the vanity and the birdcage. Love the hinges and knobs and I'm glad they aren't white, the black adds beautiful contrast. Instead of the newsprint wallpaper on top of the tables I thought it would look good with 2 stripes in one width and a 3rd stripe wider to replicate a grain sack, done in a light gray. Love white, but like it when you use other colors like the green too. Look forward to your update on these! Mary, I want to tell you how much I enjoyed this video. You gave me so many ideas to mull over on some furniture that I have to paint. Regarding the dark circle areas on a shelf in your repaint project--you were concerned about a bleed-through if you painted over them. You might try sealing spots of this nature with a good coat of shellac, let it dry thoroughly, then apply the color of your choice. That is the treatment for knots in wood that tend to bleed through after a brief period when you paint over them. The shellac is a quick treatment and works great........I love your program and the way you represent your way of life. Best wishes, Barbara Whitman-Welborn, Athens, Alabama.

Have you ever used Watco Danish Oil? The dresser that you left the drawers unpainted looks dry. The Danish Oil really helps. Everything is beautiful!

I loved the dry sink, buffet. Heck I just really loved all the pieces!! That green paint was a beautiful color. When you used it on the old cabinet that to me just made that piece. Tell people you cannot put a bird in the cage because of the paint. It could kill a bird. I guess most people will use it as a decorating piece.

Mary, I enjoy watching your videos. I was in Holmes County last week and when we were traveling the back roads I would look at the homes looking for your front porch or your pond. I even looked for you as we did some thrifting. We had a wonderful time, the country and farms and trees were beautiful. The shopping was fun and the food (no matter what it was) just amazing. We make this trip once or twice a year. Who knows someday we might meet.
