that's to be expected from the Tales series from the time. [There's also tales of Phantasia] Also does the game. The battles against Summon spirits,or the final battle themes are pretty lit.

Same here, to my own detriment for that 2nd fight you have with her x_x I was grinding (or rather just playing fast and loose with the TP conservation) in the Wind Temple after beating that boss because I was counting on a free HP/TP heal once you make it outside, not realizing you had to fight her again before you can leave

I can't tell if I love or hate this. On the one hand, they were VERY fast and loose with the way they treated the story of the game, and I do love the story. At the same time though, this is a ton of fun, the art is freaking BEAUTIFUL, and it's great getting to see the characters interact in ways they didn't originally because of game reasons. *Spoilers in the next part* And the way they keep having Kratos give looks and stuff to Lloyd is being very clear with how "oh yeah, these two have a connection", which I like. One of my maybe 3 complaints about the game was that Lloyd being Kratos' son kinda came out of nowhere.

+Branded Edge-- they're at Triet. Their destination is Palmacosta. That is very to the east of Triet. It's weird though, they still take the ship and wind up doing the "Hard Path" and take on Balacruf before Thoda.

It's just weird japanese romanization choices I think. Maybe Refill was more of a humor thing. You know, like she refills your HP bar. I mean it's not funny but... I get it I guess. There are other weird things like Sheena being written as Shihna, which just looks ugly to me.
