This painting was filmed during the COVID-19 pandemic,
which forced the artist to close his Chelsea studio of 25 years.
The title "pain & terror" is a play on the word "Painter" - an expression
of the emotional and professional hardships of life as an artist in New York.
This was his last painting in that space.
