Thanks Charlie and the boss Gail! Wonderful painting. Any chance you would be willing or be so magnanimous as to do a few quickies ? Say of those wonderful horses running in profile just forward of mid range? The quickie you did of the horse and rider front view was so wonderful and non fussy. I do have all your quickies documented in my sketchbook and refer back to them often . Thise wine bottle ducks and geese just brilliant as well as the easiest most believable sheep ever! The horses and riders on the beach painting is lovely and really brings back some of the happiest times of my life. Though we only used bareback pads not saddles at the beach. To much cleaning salt off the tack. Lol. Thank you again for the marvelous demo. Oh... Princeton Neptune brushes are supposed to be synthetic squirrel I believe. I do have a couple and that's what the description was when I purchased them a year ago now. Though Princeton did come out with one of the first synthetic Kolinsky ones as well. I didn't know they are a Daler Rowney company. Take care. Cheers.💜👍

I didn't know DR made Princeton.. if that is the case try their Velvetouch brushes. I adore them and they are cheap as chips. Very well made. I use them for both watercolor and acrylic and they do great. The standard rounds are more like what you usually use, but they also have "long rounds" which have that traditional full belly fine point watercolor shape. I own a ton of them and have had one issue which was easily fixed (a handle came loose).. otherwise they are extremely durable and do not shed. Very comfortable to hold as well with a nice finish and handle shape and good balance. I can't say enough nice things about them honestly.
