I think my work is very clumsy, but just maybe, I'm beginning to understand how to soften it and perhaps begin to get more professional looking. Great video as always. It was years ago while watching your channel that I learned to use a rigger in this way. (Loaded with paint and flattened.) It has been immensely helpful, and you'd think I would of thought of it on my own. But that's one of the many benefits of studying your work. You quite often show clever ways to use equipment that might not of been obvious to others.

Fascinates me how a painter just brings it to a certain threshold with simple brushstrokes, suddenly allowing the viewer's brain to click and say "oh, it's glassy ripples!"
