Painting a Value Study

Hello my fellow artists!
In this video I am working on preparing a value study of a still life. This is for a class that I am teaching on basic painting. If you are new to painting, a value study is a great tool! It really helps you get familiar with the shapes and main values in the composition. These can also be lovely pieces on there own - in my opinion.
