when I was a kid, my mom painted a mural in the hallway of this field surrounded by woods, and I think there was a cottage there too? and then painted a white lattice criss cross fence over top of it so it looked like you were looking through the fence into the distance, and I was so engrossed with it that I used to spend hours just sitting in the hallway and staring up at it, pretending I was playing in that field, or talking to the owner of the cottage, or sometimes pretending it was my cottage. I can't recall the details of it very well anymore, because we moved out of that house when I was 11 and so far my mom hasn't been able to find a picture of it, but god I miss it. she also made these borders around the living room with hand painted ivy leaves and did a light sponge painting with some forest green around the walls. it was so beautiful. anyway, this video not only let me live vicariously through you (I'm renting and paint is expensive and I'm no artist), but it also made me hella nostalgic in the best way!! so thank you for showing us your beautiful mural, and for being a nice cozy place to reminisce and get back in touch with that dreamy part of my psyche that I missed.

I grew up in a family of painters and I guess having mural walls is not such a normal thing. I always had some kind of mural on my walls and my sibling and cousins to boot. We would even paint other family members walls on occasion and would change out murals/room themes every few years. It was always super fun and rewarding to see your progress! You did a great job!!

You remind me of my daughter in some ways. She moved to another country years ago. Watching your video makes me miss her so very much. I loved how your wall turned out. You're very talented! And good for you to express, in style, who you are in your own way. Some are not brave enough to do so and spend their entire lives just "going with the flow" to fit in. Your style, ever changing, is uniquely you and it's lovely. Thank you for sharing with all of us.
