Today I'd like to show you another line and wash painting, using waterproof Pigma Micron and Faber Castell Artist Pitt pen fin liners in 08mm and 1.5mm.
I used cobaly blue, raw sienna, burnt umber and paynes grey.
I'm using Millford cold pressed 140lb/300g weight paper, 11" x 15"/28cm x 38cm, and various brushes as mentioned in the video, but use what whatever brushes and paper you are happiest with.

Lois, this is the first time I've seen the ink hatching and cross hatching used in a simplified way and with only a light general wash. It's perfection, that combination of the use of traditional ink marking with muted paint colors added. I love your approach. I too want to see more of this, the combining of classical ink style work with a little added color. Bravo!

Very nice. If only it's as easy as you make look..... Just kidding. It is a love painting though. Just lately, you've been giving us plenty of variety, and going by the comments, I'm not alone i enjoying it I painted my wonderful wife in this fashion several years ago. It was going really well, then she woke up and made me wash her tummy clean. Shame really, she's have look cool with a 10" Daffy Duck across her tummy....LOL Just kidding. I did no such thing to my long suffering Mrs. 36 years being married to this kind of sense humour has kept looking young though. now in her late 50s, and still only has a couple of grey hairs. Bless her. Always has been, and ever will my best friend. Thank you for putting this out for our enjoyment. TTFN.
