Very helpful--thanks!! In regard to the toothbrush--do you use soft or hard bristle brush?
@paisleysandpolkadots Жыл бұрын
I believe the one I use is a medium bristle, but any kind will work just fine.

Can you share a link for brushes. I've put about 4 coats of paint and see brush strokes

I like the Masters Touch brand of brushes. I believe you can find them at Hobby Lobby or Michaels, but I have had mine for many years and can't remember where I purchased them. If you are seeing brush stokes it could possibly be that you are using too much paint on your brush. If you are having an issue with the bristles of your brush separating than it's most likely the brush you are using.

Is there a spray that use to kind of finish it all, I can't seem to find what it was you were using

Any brand of clear spray will work for the wood pieces. I like a matte finish. BUT, if you have a kit that has paper attached to the wood, I ONLY recommend using Mod Podge matte spray. Any other clear spray will turn the paper white. Only use the spray and not the pump. The pump does not coat evenly. I recommend testing the spray on a scrap piece of paper before spraying the finished project as weather conditions can effect the outcome.
