Lucy will be blessed to have a little sister. My sister and I are 16 months apart. We are in our 50's now. She is my best friend, and I adore her so much. The soft lilac shade of the nursery is so pretty. I think once the furniture and curtains are placed, the stars will blend in just fine. I also think the cluster of little stars would look nicer if they are consistent with the rest of the stars. I hope and pray all your plans come together ❤️

On camera (at least on my phone) that paint color is just magical! It seems to shift in the nuance of every beam of sunlight. I had to laugh at post-bottle Lucy. Leanne: oh she’s so sleepy… Lucy: big eyes 👀 So toddler! 😂

Usually you can get samples paint them all on wall and then wait to dry and then pick the one .

When I was younger my room was a similar light purple color. I ended up painting over a portion of the purple wall with a clear glittery wall paint. It added just a bit of sparkle, you could only really see the sparkles when the sun hit the walls. Just an idea for you! I love the way you have added all the stars, it feels very Tinkerbell!

Oh you sneaky minx! filming in Black&White! :D :D yes, I highly recommend getting the paint sample cards in multiples and blue tacking those to all walls and seeing the different lighting etc, it took us 3 tries for my hubbies office and I am still debating our bedroom lol I want a calming peachy coral but not too washed out.

I absolutely love the concept of the stars but I agree that they were looking a bit harsh after Day 1. Too many of the big pointy ones clustered together, not enough tiny dispersed ones. It looks a LOT better at the end of the video ✨💜✨ I can't wait to see how it turns out in the end! I know it will be beautiful. Your new little girl is so lucky to have you as a mom!

I would wait to take stars down until all of the furniture is in the room. They stand out right now because they're the only focal point in the room. Once you have curtains, bedding, a rug if you're getting one, and the color of the furniture you may find that they recede a bit.

I don’t understand the Cheesecake Factory drama. I love Cheesecake Factory and I would have no problem going there on a first date. Heck I’d be happy going to wingstop on a first date. The way I see it is we need food to survive so anytime someone feeds me, regardless of what or where it’s from, they are literally keeping me alive lol and I’m extremely grateful for that. This is what I imagined when she was explaining it. Then when they first started doing it I was thinking it looked too concentrated, but once they got more of the smaller ones up it looked better. I think if it's spread out more like the particles are floating away (and maybe mix in some smaller stickers that are just circles), it will look softer. Cotton candy is a good analogy!

I know what you mean with the stars. I see the vision but agree they were too...crowded? Saturated? I think some just need to be removed to make it look more sparse and delicate. Like a delicate little trail of Tinkerbell stars

Would you be willing to share how you and Grant decided to have another baby and how you're dealing with any residual trauma from Lucy's birth. I had a pretty intense delivery followed by a NICU stay with my baby and it makes me so nervous about having another baby.
