Nice wee video Simon thanks. Interesting to see your use of contrast paint for the fur and flesh...considering that I'll be painting up a skaven team shortly that was really handy. And IMHO the face looks pretty damn good as it is. Keep em coming.

First time catching one of your painting tutorials, good stuff! I like how Willhelm came out in the end. Something I don't often see is people painting FW models, so seeing that was great and this makes me want to get my own Willhelm for my Undead!

Thanks, I’m just getting into the swing of things again after a long while without a painting video. I’ve got plenty more FW stuff to come - more Star Players and Necromunda characters. Wilhelm was a good model to paint and it is good that he can be used as a standard werewolf in my team too!

That was a cool tutorial and at great pace. Also more lore than our well known hobby stream service 😉 Making the light face with the skin was a great decision and everything just stood out. One thing I've noticed is my Averland Sunset seems so dark compared to everyone else's and this is also under a good painting light 🤔 I also do the mix with Yriel Yellow and find that is a great way to work with yellow, but still would like a better base. Giving me the motivation to get my Blitzbowl teams finally painted!

Haha, thanks! I just like to make up a little story to bring the colour scheme to life. My plan is to do a full 12 team league in unique schemes, each with their own back story. That’s probably my lightest pot of Averland. I tried Balor Brown over black as a base on some of my other guys but I still needed to layer Averland to make it work. I’ll be looking out for your Blitzbowl team! I loved looking through your Insta photos.

@@TheHalfDoneHobbyist I think the back stories for any mini are a must and for Blood Bowl it is required and so open to that. All leagues have their grudges! Thanks on the insta photos. It is nice to get them up and completed. A virtual display cabinet. Your picture of Rick mini was cool one to see along with the Mephiston. Such a cool paint job every time I see it.
