Its amazing how shadows can bring such a level of depth and how it can bring a painting alive. I cant wait to apply what I've learned from your videos into my painting. Thank you so much

I just love your relaxed expressionist manner of painting. The clarity in your explanation of why you do the things in foreground/background etc are amazing!

Beautiful work and demo. Watercolor is such a challenging medium. The whole "this painting's NOT coming together the way I want it to" sounds so familiar. But you pulled it together very well. I think a lot of it had to do with the fact that the bottom area wasn't yet finished at that middle stage. Thank you for sharing! (:

I was taught a long time ago that all paintings get to a stage that it does not seem right but we need to stick with the original plan and forge ahead and it will come together.

Yes =) even if the painting fail, the learning experience is never wasted =)

Great instructional demo. I particularly like the way the yellow glaze on the right building brightened the picture and is picked up by the yellow car.

Well I enjoyed watching another one - what talent and generosity you have! And also - lots of nerve - like when you realized the building on the left needed more value , you just jumped in and made it darker- brave. You definitely inspire me big time! Makes me want to paint - thank you.
