Thanks for this Jackie. For me it's about the mix of paint (how thick or thin) and details of the strokes. I find the eyebrows are one of the hardest things to do but I have only reborned 3 babies so far. She is adorable x

i have 3 heads waiting to have eyebrows done. i was not too encouraged when you said it took you 3 years to master them! EECK! i do need to relax about them. i finally got over my fear of nails and the last sets i did i did enjoy doing them. so, i have to bit the bullet and practice them now. what i would absolutely love to see is s camera mounted, in line with your eye and close up so the work could be viewed. a go pro possibly? those camera glasses? Stefanie standing behind you filming ? hee hee! i would love to watch your technique fro, your perspective. thanks for this video! your time and effort producing these videos really does help.

Honestly you are so talented. I really enjoy your how to videos. You make it seem so easy & I'm sure it's not at least for those that are beginners. Thank you for making these videos I truly enjoy them & I've thought about buying a full kit that comes with everything you need & a DVD that is suppose to walk you through step by step. My questions for you are what do you think about those kits if you have seen or heard of them & is it a good way to start learning to do this art/craft? I know you are busy so if you can't get back to me I understand. Again thank you for sharing these videos, they are amazing to watch! |

Hi Jackie I would love to know if you have an idea what texturing hair and eyebrows mean is it like a special medium or paint? And also are u only using thinner with the paint or thinning medium? Thank you so much for this video for me eyebrows and nails are tricky and this was very helpful 💗
@Irish_Lass20247 жыл бұрын

my goodness it took me almost 6hrs to get the eyebrows even and to my liking on the last doll. but the first one only took 20mins!! I really wish I was joking. I took several breaks obviously but I swear this poor baby had so many funky expressions lol but they ended up looking so identical it looks like it was easy. wondering how many others have this problem? I didn't use the thinning medium didn't even think of that it. thank you so much for that suggestion! I bet that will make a huge difference and maybe I won't pull out too much of my hair 😁
@monstertracks16827 жыл бұрын
How do you apply the varnish or medium? I have applied Matte varnish to brows and hair and it left a definite line, now I just medium or satin the whole head again. Painted hair and eyebrows certainly are a challenge, so thank-you so much for this mini tutorial. Would you please do a tongue painting and tongue texturing tutorial? You mentioned doing the tongue painting tutorial quite a while back but I know you are quite busy and I am just grateful for any tutorial. Thanks again.
@falconridgedesigns7 жыл бұрын
ooo the tongue... yeah, nice!
@foxnsox59075 жыл бұрын
I tried the matte varnish and it left the doll looking satin sheen and gritty in some spots. not only that, but it dulled the hair but left some spots vibrant and satiny. have no idea what i did wrong. just curious, after the matte are they supposed to look like they do before applying or have a bit of a satin gloss?? I'm wondering if I just thought it's supposed to look like it will just painted without a finish. I didn't bother to varnish my second baby because I dont want to mess her up like i did my first baby.

I want to try to reborn my first kit Libby by Cindy Musgrove, unfortunately I received the kit from eBay with two left legs, which unfortunately for me I can't return it. Well either way I want to start painting my kit until I get a right leg . I've watched so many videos on rooting but not too many artist paint the dolls hair. I absolutely love your videos and how well you and your wife reborn dolls. I guess the hardest part for me will definitely be the ebrows. I've seen stencil eyebrow tapes. Have you ever tried them or know if it's worth purchasing them.
