Hi, how do you splatter paint a wood table top?
@JunkdUp2 ай бұрын
@@prettylagoon make sure your table top is clean and free of any grease, spills, etc. if you are using a chalk or mineral style paint you can start painting. You can either just start splattering your choose of colors or you can paint a solid color first and then splatter on top of that. If you are using a latex or acrylic paint you’ll have to use a primer first. And then I would paint a solid coat of paint onto which you can splatter. You’ll want to seal everything once you are happy with the design. This goes for any kind of paint. To splatter you can use cheap bushes. Thin the paint with a little water (make sure to use a water based paint) to loosen it up and make splattering easier. Just flick the brush using your wrist in different directions. I have a video where I use a splatter technique although it’s not a tabletop. I’ll drop the link below
Thank you. Sorry you thought the music was loud. Video editing is hard and I’m always learning

I completely agree my work isn’t for everybody. With all of my videos I try to provide education or exposure to new techniques or tools. It’s more important for me to expose viewers to something new or different than to make something for others to produce an exact copy. I’m so happy you liked the tutorial aspect over the outcome.
