I wone a bid on EBay of a 9" fire truck it's was made in the 50's it would look good with those flames on it the fire truck needs a new red paint job being it was played with, but the flames on the side will look real good. I bought it to set over the fire extinguisher I have a old cast iron fire plack I found by and old fire hydrant. I'll practice the flames on the fire extinguisher. Before I do the fire truck. I don't know where you got the sticker flames to put on there I guess I can draw them on blue painter's tape? I can draw really well just new to the air brushing. Learning from your channel thank you very much for getting me into air brushing on my old stuff that needs a new coat of paint.

Can you do a tangalo (orange metallic) colored car. That to me screams hot rod! Plus I guess it's kinda technical to pull off. I think it's right up your alley.

Another fabulous episode. I can't wait until you branch out to multi-layer stencils and resists. Here, you painted in the negative space of the stencil, and I'm dying to see you work with layers and overpainting positives -- like doing scallops and shadows & stuff. Really nice result and always a pleasure to watch.

For some reason, reading that title to this vid reminded me of an 80s heavy metal groove: "Painting wheels on a Hot Wheels Lincoln!!" (Insert guitar riff here) "It ain't no Dodge 'cause it ain't stinkiiiiiiiiiin!" (another guitar riff) "Burning into to town on high level octane!" (guitar riff screaming) "Driving this car is gonna be in-SAAAAAAAAAANE!! (full on screaming guitar solo here) What can I say? I had a lame dream last night. Good metal music counterbalances waking up feeling totally bummed out. gnarly flames, dude. (Actually, yes, I CAN say that, I was born and raised on the California beach and yes, I actually know how to surf!) HAVE A GOOD ONE ON MEEEEEEE!!! If you inverse how you masked it, using the shape of the flame on the base to block the flames, spray magenta to desired effect, then remove all masking and hit again til happy. This will be easier (potentially) and reduce mill thickness and you lower the risk of ruining the main paint job by reducing steps. That's how I spray the them, unless there's a specific thing I'm going for then I'll get creative with the order but as seen here, I think it'd be safer and less tedious for you. Awesome looking Cont though. Love this cars man. Old school badass.

Perfect! This new technique with stencils really widens your options on future builds! I'd like to see you do something with neon pinks and lime greens. Radical colors used in subtle detailing. You are a great artist and I really enjoy your channel. Thanks for inspiration and you taking the time to show your whole process. I'm building myself a crafting area with plans for airbrushing as well as brush painting smaller details. I much prefer the larger scale builds because of inexperience and too shaky hands to do really small cars like hot wheels. Thanks for everything friend.
