My target for this process is the Avatar Khaine. The metal version was done with Tin Bitz as the armour and red, orange and white in the fissures. I think the new one is a little more challenging, though Tin Bitz is still for the armour colour. It takes a red wash quite nicely.

Ah nice! I really want to paint that model! That’ll look really cool, it’s all about where you want the heat to emanate from and build outwards if you know what I mean. I haven’t seen tin bitz in ages! I thought games workshop discontinued it?

Is there a how to paint video of the guy riding that. He looks awesome too!
@AcrylicSpillis16 күн бұрын
Thank you so much! I didn’t film him but there’s some process photos on my patreon. My other video (how to paint Khorne berserkers) pretty much follows the same process except for the horns. Hope that helps 👍🏼

Actually a pretty good job. However I will only use acrylics which means an alternative to oils for pin lining. So what would be your opinion of using medium with the colour for pin lining. Does the medium remain to thick to flow?
@AcrylicSpillis16 күн бұрын
Thank you ☺️ You definitely can do it with using extra medium and acrylics. It just won’t flow as well so it’ll take a bit longer because you don’t want to flood the area with paint. And it might take a couple of passes to get the desired coverage 👍🏼

Lovely, where did you get the bases material ?

Thank you ☺️ I used cork, grass tufts, reindeer moss and the big one is just a twig I found in the garden 👍🏼
