I'll say this in English, even though I am a Hamburger :) I enjoy your explanations, especially because they are sometimes a bit philosophical. I studied 2D and 3D at a school that no longer exists. And we also had an art teacher, but he had a conservative background, because he came from artschool and painted in oils. He knew a great deal but wasn't good in the digital process. I introduced him to greyscale painting, for example. Even though that is also a traditional method. The main thing was 3D and I got pretty good, but I never enjoyed it. I worked for 10 years in "Multimedia" and it was the same boring thing, year after year. I stopped drawing completely. Maybe, because I thought I wasn't good enough. But art is not a competition and when I realized that I quit my job (last year) and bought a new Wacom and started drawing again. Like a maniac. But simply because I love drawing and because it feels like the right thing to do. Now I'm finishing the cover for my cartoon, while listening to and watching your tutorials and a lot of what you say resounds with me. I think your students may not always appreciate it in the moment, but what you are giving them is of great value to fellow artists, who love what they do. So, thank you from the heart.

@@TheLobstersoup Hey welcome. I know what you mean. I put art on the side for some years myself. But I think art will call you if you're that kind of person ... ignoring that call will eventually make you miserable. So keep doing what your doing as long as it feels right.
